NoteGPT — AI Note Taker for Lectures & Meetings

WordPress marketing site for an AI app that turns any lecture or meeting into notes, flashcards, and study guides automatically.

The Client

NoteGPT is an AI-powered study tool that automatically transcribes lectures and generates summaries, flashcards, and structured notes. With 840+ happy note takers, the app supports 100+ languages and works across audio files, YouTube videos, PDFs, and websites. It is trusted by students at leading universities including MIT, Purdue, University of Wisconsin-Madison, Monash University, and UCLA.

The Brief

NoteGPT had a strong product but a marketing site that didn't match the quality or convey the breadth of the tool's capabilities to prospective users — particularly students and professionals evaluating AI productivity tools in an increasingly crowded market.

What Shipped

Built a custom WordPress marketing site that structures the product story clearly: a benefit-led hero, feature breakdowns for each core capability (transcription, summaries, flashcards, multi-format support), and social proof from university users. The theme is optimised for fast load times and conversion-focused layout patterns.

How it was built

WordPressPHPCSSJavaScriptAdvanced Custom Fields

Custom WordPress theme with ACF-powered flexible content areas so the NoteGPT team can update feature sections, add testimonials, and adjust the hero without developer involvement. PHP template parts handle each major section; CSS custom properties manage the design tokens consistently.

Communicating the range of NoteGPT's capabilities — across audio, video, PDF, and live transcription — without overwhelming visitors required careful information hierarchy work, sequencing features so each builds on the previous rather than presenting a flat feature dump.

Results & reach

The new marketing site clearly communicates NoteGPT's value to its target audience of students and professionals, supporting growth at institutions including MIT, UCLA, Purdue, and Monash University, with 840+ users citing improved study efficiency.
