SourceLow is an AI-powered print-on-demand and dropshipping platform founded in 2020. Their tagline is 'Launch your profitable print on demand store or private label store in seconds' — offering manually vetted suppliers, pre-built Shopify stores delivered within 48 hours, AI-powered store customisation, and expert Shopify marketing services. They serve entrepreneurs starting or scaling dropshipping and print-on-demand businesses.
The Brief
Entrepreneurs entering the dropshipping and print-on-demand space face an overwhelming, fragmented landscape of suppliers and tools. SourceLow needed a platform that could organise this into a searchable, filterable directory that felt authoritative and easy to navigate.
What Shipped
Built a custom WordPress theme with a structured directory system using custom post types for supplier listings, with filterable taxonomy views by region, niche, and fulfilment type. Editorial content and tool comparison pages sit alongside the directory under a shared design system.
How it was built
Directory listings are modelled as custom post types with Advanced Custom Fields storing structured supplier data — region, product categories, MOQs, and integrations. The front-end renders filterable archive views via custom WP_Query loops, with JavaScript handling client-side filter state for a snappy UX without full page reloads.
Designing a directory taxonomy flexible enough to cover the diversity of supplier types — domestic vs international, POD vs dropship vs hybrid — while keeping the filter UI simple enough for first-time entrepreneurs who are still learning the landscape.
